What’s been happening:

After leaving PSU, I attended the University of Chicago where I obtained an MA in social work in 1965 and met and married my English husband, Chris. We moved to the UK in 1970 after two years working in Hamilton, Ontario. My husband is now Anglican Vicar (of Maidstone) specializing in restoring Medieval churches . Our current one was built in 1395. I am working as a counselor and researcher in the disability field having founded a charity, The HearSay Charitable Trust, in 2004. I am also a Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics where I also received my Ph.D in 1998. The Ph.D became a book, Hearing Differently, in 2001. We have two children. Our son, Edward is currently a Research Fellow at Keble College, Oxford. Our daughter is a teacher living in Barcelona. When we get together as a family, there are six people and four languages!
